If you are going to be visiting Las Vegas, you will have the chance to put a wide variety of attractions and special interest sights to see on your to-do list. The Bellagio Conservatory, located in the Bellagio Hotel and Casino, has been looked upon as being a kaleidoscope for the senses. This is a living garden attraction that actually changes from season to season throughout the year to offer beautiful arrangements, colors and themes that are breathtaking and a wonderful experience to behold.
These stunning gardens are located just adjacent to the lobby of the Bellagio Hotel and are always open to the public throughout the year. The opening to the garden features a glass ceiling that towers 50 feet above. This beautiful conservatory includes stunning beams and ceiling framework made in the shape of floral patterns using oxidized copper that creates a beautiful green color. The pathways of the Conservatory and Botanical Gardens at the Bellagio lead to some of the top attractions that the hotel has to offer, including restaurants, shops, the bakery/cafe, garden store, spa, promenade and more
The Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens at the hotel are actually redesigned five times each year to reflect significant seasonal themes. There is Chinese New Year, springtime, summertime, fall and then winter. With each seasonal display, you have a wealth of fragrant flowers that work together to celebrate the themes, colors and of course all of the plants and blooms of the season. During the summer, you may have red, white and blue, while the winter maybe deep greens and reds with poinsettias, evergreen and holly berries. Throughout any of the themes and displays, there are also different sculptures and water fountains that are placed for your enjoyment that have been created by commissioned artists from the area and abroad.
In order to care for the Bellagio Conservatory, it requires a staff or 120 horticulture specialists, who also take care of the Bellagio grounds. The staff works hard to maintain the integrity of the gardens while changing out each display seamlessly from season to season. During these changes, careful consideration is taken to look for the right flowers to complement all of the gazebos, trees, bridges, fountains, ponds and more. At the same time, they have the ability to add in new features or even remove them to make way for the different designs to be installed.
No matter where you are going to be staying in Las Vegas, this is one attraction that cannot be missed. There are dark dates that normally fall for about four days in the months of September and November. If you have questions on these dates, all you have to do is contact the front desk at the Bellagio Hotel so that you can plan your visit accordingly. Be sure that you bring along a camera and plan on spending a great deal of time walking through all of the pathways to experience all that this amazing Las Vegas attraction has to offer.
